"The fashionable frolics and faux pas of a single London socialite" Nixalina is known to be the hottest London socialite.
She has earnt her well deserved status by supporting many of her celebrity friends throughout their events and being there to help others within the media industry. Following her successes from graduating with an impressive English Literature degree, she stepped straight into the well deserved position as a Fashion & Beauty Editor of a top London Magazine. Now, she has a strong fanbase within the fashion, media and celebrity industry.
Not content with homing her skills as a competent and articulate writer, Nixalina moved on to become a fully qualified Make-up Artist at London's most prestigious department store, Selfridges. Regularly seen outside of work attending press events, cosmetic launches and new clothing collections, Nixalina will un-wind and let her hair down at some of London's hottest nightclubs, including Amika, Aura, Movida and Chinawhites.
With close friends that include Alex Reid, Chantelle, Sophie-Lousie Anderton, Gino D'acampo, Lauren Goodger, Gabriella Ellis, Gemma Gregory, Alexis Knox, Bebe Kaye, Jay Camilleri, Samanda Twins, Scott Henshall, Jeff Leach and Rick Parfitt Jnr, this humble town girl runs in an eclectic circle and will be as happy at the Hoxton Pony as she is sitting sipping cocktails in Sketch. Nixalina is as grounded as the day she hit the City scene, never judging anyone by rumours and always searching for the good in everyone, an attribute rare in the modern London life.
She is currently a full time Editor as well as founding and editing her hugely successful fashion, beauty and dating website 'Sex & London City.' Here, she delivers with style the top fashion trends, teaches the readers how to master make-up looks fit for professionals, interviews celebrities that include MIC Gabriella Ellis, TOWIE Lauren Pope, This Morning's Ruth Langsford and Gino D'acampo and DJ Ironik, as well as delving in to the ridiculously witty and brutal reality of being a single and attractive woman looking for love in the Big Smoke.
Noticed by the top brands, Rimmel Cosmetics approached Nixalina to work as a Make-up Artist for their campaign at the LFW S/S '12 and then again for LFW A/W '12, plus a third 'Get the Look' video campaign in May 2012. She has also been spotted by the giant Sony Pictures, who commissioned her to write 'A Guide to Seduction' for their Hollywood hit 'Friends with Benefits' and also by Warner Bros who she wrote for in connection to their star studded hit movie 'New Year's Eve'. She won a Fashion Stylist competition for eBay Fashion UK in April and was sent off to Paris for the prize; an all expenses paid trip for her birthday in May. If this isn't enough, this talented young lady now hosts top LFW Opening parties for S&LC, held at venues such as Kensington Roof Gardens, Amika and Mia Bella and welcoming a broad spectrum of celebrity guests. Nixalina went on to grace the catwalk with her presence, starring as a celebrity model for the designer LDW Atelier's S/S '12 LFW collection and has also starred in photo-shoots across the City; she is as beautiful on film as she is creative with a pen and paper. She has now branched out into TV made appearances on channels such as ITV and BBC3 and appeared in music videos for New York popstars.
Nixalina has been interviewed herself as a 'fashionable London socialite' for a variety of publications such as Examiner (NY based publication) Love it Magazine, Ponte Magazine (Spanish publication), Frank & Doll, Your Coffee Break, Fashion United, Guestlist Network, Lemonade as well as bloggers that include Fashion by Mimi, Scarlett London, Catwalk Professor, Alex's i, and Floral Etiquette.
